INFANT CENTRE
This project is funded by Kakivak Association in Iqaluit, Nunavut. A 3 bedroom package was provided by Igloo Building Supplies Group at a discounted price.

There are 10 female students and 12 males students working on the project.

The girls will work in the afternoon and the boys will work in the morning. The remainder of their time will be spent in regular classes in the school

The non-profit Najuqsivik Society is overseeing this project.

The students will complete all parts of the construction, except the electrical and the installation of the furnace.

 

The students are provided with safety shoes, hard hats, eye protectors, overalls, gloves and tools.
